Alma del Campo — soul of the field — is Plasencia's tribute to the farms themselves, and each size is named after a part of the growing life: Tribu, Guajiro, Travesia, Sendero, Madrono.
The blend is all Nicaraguan and it tastes like it: earth, black pepper, dark chocolate and a floral note that shows up in the second half. Organically grown tobacco, which Plasencia has been doing longer than most.
