Perla del Mar is J.C. Newman's value line made in Nicaragua, and the Corojo is the spiciest of the three wrappers offered. Three sizes, all with a short, thick profile.
Red pepper and sweet cedar up front, then a nutty, toasted middle and a clean finish. For a box just over two hundred dollars the construction is better than it needs to be.
