Desflorado refers to tobacco grown from plants that were topped early, forcing the remaining leaves to take on more nutrients. Fewer leaves, more concentration. It is a slower and more expensive way to farm, and it shows in the cup of the finished cigar.
Richer and denser than the standard Grand Reserve, with sweet cedar, cream and a nutty core that builds without ever getting sharp. The construction is impeccable, which at this price it should be.
