PDR marked its fifteenth anniversary in 2018 by introducing its first coffee-infused line, built off the original 1878 blend. This is the medium roast — the sun grown expression, sitting between the Connecticut and the maduro.
The coffee is worked into the blend rather than sprayed on, so it reads as a roasted sweetness rather than a flavouring. Sun grown leaf adds a little spice underneath. Corona, robusto or toro.
