Three countries, three leaves, one cigar. Tres Compadres pulls tobacco from Nicaragua, the Dominican Republic and Honduras and lets each one do a job: body from the Nicaraguan, sweetness from the Dominican, spice from the Honduran.
The result is more layered than most cigars at this price. Cocoa and toasted bread through the first half, then a pepper edge that arrives late and stays polite. Construction is Kristoff-typical, meaning the burn line stays honest all the way down.
