Joya de Nicaragua is the country's oldest cigar factory, and Antano is its most famous line. The Connecticut version puts a shade wrapper on a blend that is otherwise known for power.
Cream and cedar on the surface, with the Antano backbone of pepper and earth still audible underneath. It is a mild-looking cigar with genuine Nicaraguan character, which is a hard trick.
