In the 1970s this was considered the finest cigar in Nicaragua and arguably the world, made in the country's first cigar factory and smoked in the White House. War and the years that followed nearly ended it.

Antaño 1970 is the recreation, and it does not soften anything. Full-bodied, dark and powerful — pepper, leather and earth, with a strength that demands respect. Six sizes, from a 4.5-inch Consul upwards.

Wrapper: Nicaraguan Criollo
Binder: Nicaraguan
Filler: Nicaraguan long-filler
Strength: Very full
Sizes: Consul (4.5" x 52), Robusto (5.5" x 52), Gran Consul (4.7" x 60), Alisado (6.0" x 52), Churchill (6.7" x 48), Belicoso (6.0" x 54), Big Bull (7.0" x 60)

A piece of cigar history, and still one of the strongest things on the shelf.
