Carl and Herman Upmann were German bankers who travelled to Cuba in 1844 intending to make the perfect cigar. The Banker is the modern nod to that story — originally a blend kept for the firm's most important clients.
The Annuity is a six by fifty-two toro. Medium to full, with a rich, layered profile: cedar, sweet spice, a little coffee. Refined rather than loud.
