Anejo means aged, and that is the whole premise — the tobacco in this blend sat longer than the standard 1844 before rolling. Two sizes, a Robusto and a Toro.
Smooth and sweet: cedar, almond, a light caramel, and none of the roughness that unrested tobacco carries. It is the most polished cigar in the 1844 range.
