If you’ve ever met Steve Saka, you know that calling him a big deal is quite the understatement. Originally gaining fans with his work at Drew Estate, Saka retired from DE back in 2013. But in 2015, Dunbarton Tobacco & Trust was born, and like a phoenix from the cigar ashes, Saka rose again with another fantastic brand of top-shelf sticks. Spoiler alert: this is no sophomore slump. Mi Querida, Spanish for “my mistress”, is a medium to full-bodied cigar that deserves immediate attention. The recipe is a seamless Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper over Nicaraguan binder and filler. The first few puffs are filled with chocolate, and thick syrupy sweetness.
