The darker follow-up to the 90-rated Epicure, using the same Nicaraguan core beneath a rich Mexican San Andrés maduro wrapper. The teal band is a nod to a 1957 Bel Air, which tells you something about the house's sense of humour.
San Andrés brings what San Andrés always brings — dark chocolate, coffee, a touch of black pepper — but the mellower Epicure blend underneath keeps it from turning heavy. Medium to full, and better balanced than most maduros at this price.
