The Epicure line comes in three expressions, and Habano is the one that splits the difference — darker than the original Connecticut, lighter than the Maduro. It is handmade at the Plasencia factory in Estelí and blended entirely from Nicaraguan tobacco.
The wrapper is a dark, oily Nicaraguan habano leaf, and the profile runs to walnut, oak and espresso. Medium-bodied and notably smooth for something with this much colour to it.
