A cigar built around the Buffalo Trace bourbon brand — the distillery behind Eagle Rare, Weller and Pappy Van Winkle. The Colonel E.H. Taylor name has stood for bottled-in-bond quality since 1897, and the cigar is blended to sit alongside it.
The Mexican San Andrés wrapper does the heavy lifting: dark chocolate, espresso and a peppery edge that softens as the cigar settles. Three sizes, from a five-inch robusto to a six by fifty-six toro gordo.
