Camacho holds a supply of Cuban-seed tobacco harvested before the 1962 embargo, and this 6 x 48 Toro is one of the few cigars that uses it. There is a finite amount of that leaf and no way to make more.
Aged tobacco of this vintage smokes differently — softer, rounder, with a sweetness that has had sixty years to settle. Cedar, dried fruit and a long, dusty finish.
