XO is the most refined thing AVO makes. An Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over long-aged Dominican filler, offered only in two sizes because the blend does not need more than that.
It smokes like a well-rested cigar should: cream, almond, sweet cedar, and a finish that fades rather than drops off. The Maestoso at 7 x 48 is the traditional shape and the better of the two if you have the time.
