The cigar the whole brand is built on. Avo Uvezian blended it in the 1980s and it has barely changed since — an Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper over aged Dominican filler, in eight sizes running from a 4.7-inch No. 9 to a 7-inch Piramides.
Cedar, cream, a touch of nutmeg, and a smoothness that comes from tobacco that has genuinely been rested. It is one of the most consistent cigars on any shelf, which after forty years is the point.
