A Nicaraguan puro, and quite possibly the strongest thing in the Ave Maria range. Well-aged long-fillers sit inside a dark Nicaraguan maduro wrapper, in a single five-inch by fifty-four robusto.
It opens with spice and saddle leather, then turns unexpectedly rich — a smooth dark chocolate note carries the second half and holds through the finish. Full-bodied, but balanced enough that the strength never runs away from the flavour.
