The Filthy Hooligan returns each spring, and the barberpole version is the one people wait for — two wrapper leaves, one light and one dark, spiralled down the length of the cigar like the pole outside an old barber shop.
Made in Honduras in a single six by fifty toro. Under the wrapper is an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder with Honduran and Panamanian fillers. Candela is a divisive leaf, and the barberpole is the fairest way to try it: grassy brightness against something darker and sweeter.
