Time To Double Down!

In making a new cigar, a lot of experimenting is done with different tobacco blends until they get it just right. So, Alec Bradley decided to create a line from this. And oh boy did it ever deliver! Project 40, which got itself a 93-rating, and its Maduro partner certainly lived up to the hype. This now leads us to Alec Bradley Double Broadleaf, the newest line in the series.

Everyone loves a little extra. Whether it be a double scoop of protein at Chipotle or a double binder for your cigar. This masterpiece from Honduras starts with a wrapper and binder that utilizes heritage Connecticut Broadleaf tobaccos. Then go ahead and add another Nicaraguan binder and tuck in some Honduran and Nicaraguan long-leaf fillers…and wallah! You get the 90-rated Double Broadleaf that boasts notes of earth, wood, and pepper that make this stick a great choice for any occasion.

Good news! Alec Bradley Double Broadleaf has received a 90-rating, noting: "The dark cover leaf of this symmetrically-made cigar gleams with oil. Spicy touches of nutmeg and black peppercorn are supported by notes of coffee, salted caramel and leather before a finish hinting of molasses. It draws well but some inconsistency was noted on the burn."
