Aladino goes dark! 
Aladino first launched in 2015, and with the succes of the first Aladino cigar, the spotlight was on the Eiroa family for a sequel that was worth the while. Well, months and months came and went, but eventually, the Aladino Maduro finally blessed us with its presence. With the retro Aladino style bands and a toothy chocolate-colored wrapper, the Aladino Maduro is dressed to impress, and impress it does. 
Everything begins with that quintessential Aladino core of filler leaves, bound by a Honduran Corojo leaf, and topped off with a Mexican San Andres wrapper. The contrast between the Mexican San Andres wrapper and the rustic Honduran tobacco beneath creates an amazing experience, with the cigar producing waves and waves of flavor. The smoke is thick, almost as if you could chew it, and comes packed with notes of cocoa, earth, pepper, and cedar to form a hearty experience that I can wholeheartedly recommend to any fan of Aladino, Mexican San Andres, or Honduran tobacco in general.
